CenCal Mentoring 5 Day Immersion Mentoring Program

The CenCal Mentoring Academy will implement its “T.E.A.M. Approach” at one school 5 days each week. The “T.E.A.M. Approach” transitions troubled or at-risk students from early intervention to prevention to successful academic achievement. The “T.E.A.M. APPROACH” is a collaboration of efforts by the Teachers, Educators, Administrators and Mentors on each campus to provide early intervention that will lead the identified students to measurable prevention results. The Teachers, Educators and Administrators at each school site will select troubled or at-risk students who are in need of this early intervention support.

CenCal Mentoring 5 Day Tri-mersion Mentoring Program

The CenCal Mentoring Academy will implement its “Tri-mersion T.E.A.M. Approach” at one high school 5 days per week, one middle school feeder 5 days per week, and up to 4 elementary school feeders 3 hours per week. The Tri-mersion approach allows us to provide a seamless approach to the mentoring by engaging students as early as 5th grade and continue to work with them through 12th grade if necessary. We believe that this approach will reduce the number of middle and high school students with poor attendance, behavior and academic issues, and will significantly reduce dropout rates.

CenCal Mentoring 5 Day Comprehensive Immersion Mentoring Program

The CenCal Mentoring Academy will implement its “Comprehensive Immersion – T.E.A.M. Approach” at one high school 5 days per week, one middle school feeder 5 days per week, up to 4 elementary feeder schools 6-12 hours per week, and a 6 week summer school session for transitioning 6th and 8th grade students. The Comprehensive Immersion approach allows us to provide a seamless approach to the mentoring by engaging students as early as 5th grade and continue to work with them through 12th grade, if necessary. We believe that this approach will reduce the number of middle and high school students with poor attendance, behavior and academic issues, and will significantly reduce dropout rates.
